Main Ingredients
  • 500gram Any FishWithout Nails-cleaned & cut into curry cut pieces
  • 3Tablespoon Edible Oil

For Curry
  1. Wash the fish pieces thoroughly, apply a little salt and turmeric and set aside.
  2. Take a small pan and dry roast all the six ingredients. When fragrant, grind them to a powder.
  3. Now take a bigger pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil & add onion paste. Sauté till it turns light brown.
  4. Add ginger garlic green chili paste to it & sauté till the oil separates.
  5. Now add tomato paste and sauté for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add Dry Roast Masala to the mixture and give the ingredients a good stir.
  7. Now add coconut milk to it and heat for 2-3 mins.
  8. Add 2 cups of water and give the curry a good boil. Add tamarind extract and cook for another 2 mins.
  9. Now add fish pieces & let the curry come to a boil. Adjust the salt according to taste. Take care not to overcook it.
  10. Serve hot with plain rice.
